This is a speculation on wearable technologies, and their abuse on human privacy. We were interested in exploring with whom and where we share our affective states. We, as a design team, decided to play with displaying affective states as "auras".

What is the value of privacy when it comes to our feelings and moods? How can constant exposure affect interpersonal relations and relations to our own bodies? This is an art-based research process for interaction design within speculations on futures.

We are also emphasising personalisation by envisioning people crafting the wearable pieces for themselves. This is not a product, rather a way of personal expression. In the world we created, we think of the boundaries of privacy that might be violated.

When worn, the pieces affect the way we perceive our own bodies by influencing movements and extends the understanding of ways in which affect impacts our bodies. By becoming extensions of bodies, we also observed strengthening the sense of self and our personal space.
