Aqua Tofana is a strategy game in which two roles of players compete against each other. The disciples aim to kill the punished, which try to collect pieces of themselves (Body, Mind and Soul). Disciples then work together, building the labyrinth and placing traps while the punished navigate the maze and compete against each other to achieve the goal of collecting all three pieces.

We decided to work with a labyrinth that players may not have control over as a symbol of a difficult to navigate, hostile environment. This foundation has been built up by adding more straightforward, critical elements. These include character cards based on stereotypically toxic personas, morality cards to complement these personas - inspired by real situations and poison cards that are, as well, based off of real situations.
